"Why not here?" Derek asked. "We have the couches, and I'm not genius like some of these people, but the best place to be after an attack, it's where an attack happened, because what are the chances that it happens again in the same place?"
He looked at the room for a moment. "We pull everything together, we have the units take turns staying awake. It's really the only thing we can do until we're ready to leave."
"And there won't be roommates at the safe house anyway," Leon interjected. "I'm thinking a few mattresses for the older people and the kids, maybe Savannah, but the rest will be in sleeping bags until we can find some other solution."
