Summary: Dom finally does his part of the job
Theoretical physics was fun once in a while, and working with Sheldon was always intellectually stimulating, but it wasn't what Dom loved to do. His love for computers had been shown through his different degrees, and especially his PhD in Computational Science and Numerical Analysis. He'd always prefered the computational part of it anyway and now he didn't have to stretch much to do what he needed to do.
With the blueprints from the government research, their own calculations and a supercomputer, Dom could finally set things in motions and see if the machine they planned to build would truly get them to cross over dimension. He was hopeful, but they couldn't proceed on hope. They needed proof, or as much proof as they could get from a computer model, before moving onto the real thing.
They wouldn't get a second chance.
It was imperative that their computer model was accurate.
Dom worked through the day, inputting the numbers. Soon, he could go back to training, while the supercomputer did the work for them.
