From: Dr. Maura Isles To: undisclosed-recipients Subject: Physical Exams Rescheduled
As the recent bout of missions interrupted the previously set out schedule for the exams, I would like to reschedule them for this coming weekend, the 9th and 10th, same time in the morning, same division. I've copied the schedule again below with the updated dates for everyone's reference.
Sincerely, Dr. Isles

Lt. Colonel,
I'm afraid I have made a grave error and owe you another apology. I had not realized these physical examinations were to be mandatory when I first set-up the appointments. With the prevailing distrust of all things relating to science and medicine in this place, it simply did not occur to me people would be required to participate if they did not wish it.
Unfortunately, I was wrong and have now been informed of my error. It's my own fault for making a lazy assumption.
I know you had some serious concerns about the exams and tests. If you like, I can make time to go over the details with you sometime this week, before I come to the house. As it seems I cannot, in fact, allow you to skip the exam all together, the least I can do is make it as painless as possible. I truly am sorry.
Sincerely, Dr. Isles

Mr. Queen,
It seems I was wrong in my supposition that I could exempt you from the physical examinations according to your preference. It has recently been explained to me that these exams are mandatory for everyone. I do apologize for my error in this.
If you could help me to understand your aversion to the exam, perhaps there is something I can do to make the experience more palatable.
