Derek was waiting for the people from the office to arrive. He knew that no one was thrilled about this, but they would be thankful when they'd have to rely on certain skills.
He listened as Queen approached him and told him. Of course Savannah had told him to speak. The woman didn't know how to shut up. "That's good. Your skills, but I don't have a curriculum. I was going to wing it." Really it's not like survival came with a manual. "We'll stick with the entire group for at least the first week, to see what everyone can do, then we're more likely to split up. I have a feeling that a few people will be doing the same thing for a while. We can split the work then, and maybe I'll have a better idea of what's required, what work we need to do. All of that."
