"Spoken like a true politician. I guess your family rubbed off on you after all." He turned his head and kissed TJ's hand. "It's... it's a lot of things, I guess. It's knowing that I have you, that you're close, but also that you're safe and doing well. It's important to me."
Travis couldn't hug him properly, since they were so close to the wall, but he still put his arms around TJ's waist, ending any illusion of separation. "I like that. It's new, and if we had time to sit down and think about it, it'd probably scare the crap out of me, but luckily, we can barely breath, so we're good."
He chuckled. "You can pick the suit. I promise." He held just as tight, because he could guess what was going on in TJ's head. "We'll figure this out together. You won't have to make any decisions alone, babe, and we'll figure out what makes us and Doug happy. No one thought you two would last in Pittsburgh and look at you both. You're better than some of the people who stayed behind. We beat the odds before; we can do it again."
Travis nodded. "They are, and no, we're striving for no deaths on any side. I don't really want to help raise two kids. They should have their Mom and Dad, know the type of family you know." He pulled his head. "I think we're giving enough of a show. What do you think? Ready to go inside? We can fix those bags if you really want or I can show you just how much I can't get enough of you, and then we fix the bags. Learning to sleep with clothes on is going to be a bitch." He kissed TJ again. "Come on, time to make this private."
