"Alright, I can take the credit for your brilliance," TJ replied, trying not to laugh now that they were getting a little silly. "At least as long as it is brilliant and then you can take the credit." He laughed into the kiss that followed, fingers tracing lightly over Travis' cheeks, his brow, his jaw. "You smile, just a little bit at the corner of your mouth and around your eyes." And each time TJ fell in love a little bit more. "No one has ever made me feel like you do with just that smile," he said softly.
There was barely enough room between them for the clothes they were wearing and yet, TJ didn't think there'd ever be close enough. Brushing his thumb over Travis' cheek, he smiled gently. "I love you and I want to be with you," he whispered, pressing a kiss just below Travis' ear. "I'm yours and you're mine, Travis."
TJ grinned like a school boy and nodded once. "Thank you and I don't mind at all. There's only so much room in those bags and you're keeping the one you look the hottest in." He blinked, wide-eyed, when Travis pointed out what he said. He was saying too much. He couldn't make promises yet, not until he knew his chances of having to choose between brother and lover. And, yet, in his heart of hearts, he knew he'd go with Travis without question if there were no other obligations. Wrapping his arms around Travis' shoulders, TJ hugged him tightly. "I want you happy. You're too good for me, Travis Marks, far too good."
Listening to Travis talk about not having a family, or anyone, really, always made TJ want to hold him and never let go just to keep him from ever feeling alone again. Ever since that night when Travis' power came through, TJ had these wild urges to take care of Travis the way he should have had someone to take care of him always. He just wanted Travis to be happy and know he'd helped give him that. "I don't understand it. But, if it's important to you, if they're important to you, I'll try to play nice and get to know them. Just...no dying for him. I don't want to lose you, either."
