Travis had been paying attention since the voices started to carry into the bedroom. They weren't yelling and their voices went up and down, but Travis picked up enough that with what he already knew gave him a very good idea what the discussion was about.
When he heard the front door close, he put his shoes on, grabbed his gun from the night stand and the jacket and went outside. "You really shouldn't be alone," he said quietly as he approached his lover. "You might get in trouble with the guy in charge of security," he joked, but he could tell that TJ wasn't in the mood.
There was so much that he wanted to say, but he hadn't heard the entire conversation and he knew that this was Doug. TJ might have problems with him, but he wouldn't take kindly to people badmouthing him. "C'mere," he said instead, stretching an arm in TJ's direction. He could hold his lover until he was ready to talk.
