Eliot was content on a holiday for the first time in what felt like ages. He had his family, good food, and gifts that he'd been able to shop for without going through a third party or needing backup. There was no doubt that breaking from the group had been the right decision to make. Unless they got recalled, Eliot planned to do everything he could to enjoy the life he now had and protect it from being taken away from them.
