April laughed. "No, but it will do," she teased. "It's Christmas, it's our house, we should go crazy." She smiled wider. "And I already started getting presents."

Although secretly she had gotten a present for Savannah and the girls as well. She did miss her friend and hoped the separation wasn't forever. "Isn't it perfect?" she said as she looked at their home. "We have a home, now. A proper home. Not even the base compared to this."
