G's expression didn't change as he listened to both men speak. Then he exchanged glances with Sam once again. He could tell Sam had reservations about letting them go. He could guess at the reasons well enough. He'd had a similar thought earlier in the encounter. The chances these two could keep a lid on their powers and not draw attention to everyone... It wasn't quite enough to outweigh G's distrust of the situation and Queen's response was... not encouraging, although it was, perhaps, the most honest thing he'd heard out of the man.
But, what convinced him was Merlyn. It wasn't the story of a shipwreck, either, but the fact Merlyn defended Queen to the point of backing down when he was well within his rights to smack the man for the way he'd treated him. G would keep a close eye on things, but that decided it for him. "You could probably get the manicure, but it would come with polish that was pink with glitter," he replied, his gaze warming a little. "But, alright, if that's your choice."
He looked between the two of them. "I'll have your word before we go, both of you, that you will abide by our rules and do nothing that puts others in danger."
