"I was giving you the spotlight. You panic with much better flair than me," Oliver jibed with a smirk. He wasn't panicked because panic led to mistakes and mistakes could get you killed.
"I don't know what's happening," he said, dropping his hands from Tommy's shoulders. "I don't know if the cops would know us. Too much is already wrong here, and I don't know why. I do know that we can't stay here."
Oliver glanced back at the man, who was staring at them suspiciously from the window again. "Let's go to the police station. Even if they don't recognize us, maybe we can get some answers. Then we'll find some money and get drunk."
