Re: At Home
"I'm not kidding, actually. The teddy bear was named for President Roosevelt, Teddy, and the first ones manufactured in America were created based on a political cartoon of the era about an incident with a black bear during a hunt." Chuckling, TJ shook his head. "Nope, that thought never crossed our minds. But, your insanity's growing on us."
Instead of answering the question immediately, TJ kissed him again and tried to focus on sending Travis the things he was feeling, had been feeling all day: the amused pleasure from smiling pancakes, the happy enthusiasm as he tried teaching Travis to skate, the breathless excitement every time he caught Travis watching him with one of those appraising looks, the still simmering desire after all the dancing and touching in the club. He still wasn't sure how he did it or how much would translate to Travis without the context of what created each variant of happiness he'd experienced.
"That's what you give me," he murmured as he pulled back from both kiss and emotional sharing. "Today was unlike anything I would have had at home and it was good, Travis. I enjoyed it, the sweet and the silly, the dinner that had to have made you choke when you saw the bill." He chuckled lowly. "Even the amusement park, although that might also be that you were there with me instead of just stalking me."
