RP: Leon, Callen, Morgan Who: Leon, Callen, Morgan Where: his roomm When: November 23, 2012 Summary: Leon and his leads catch up
Leon waited until after dinner to invite his two leads to his house. They both knew that it wasn't a real invitation, but work. Leon had taken one of the chairs that had been brought to the rec center and took it back to his room, although it wasn't like Callen enjoyed sitting.
When the other two arrived, he took them to the kitchen where there were already three glasses sitting there for them. Leon went to the cabinet and took out a bottle. "Let's sit down. We have a few things that we need to go over." He opened the bottle and poured the cognac in the three glasses. "This move was arranged by me, the president and her Chief of Staff. Paperwork was shred before we even left, soldiers at the base have been reassigned and the base is being closed. All evidence that the base was even open will disappear. Most of our operations were financed by the executive, moved through different agencies, even through money it's unlikely that they will find us any time soon."
Leon sat down and took a sip. "We have a lot more than two weeks gentlemen. Potentially we have until some criminal makes it known that we exist, but I'm not an optimist, so I'm counting that sooner or later someone will violate national security and say something to someone. Still I don't want everyone out there knowing this or they'll stop paying attention. Also, all research on the subject has been closed, labs have been shut down, people have been reassigned. We're on our own about a way back. We're on our own about a great many things, and we need to plan our little stay here."
They were getting so good with the moves, but they had logistics to deal with. "In the next few days, I have two trips. One for major furniture, and one for the holidays and that rec club. It's the one thing that has always kept people united, no matter where we were. Whatever they need, they should have. The other trip is to the safe house to make sure everything is all right. Last, but not least, we need a completely new system. No qualifications or certification, no new people, but we need to keep people skills sharp. Any ideas and if not, we can have Sam keep them occupied until we do have something in place."
