With Nate gone, Eliot felt a bit trapped. "Yeah, I believe, and hope. But religion's a personal thing for folk and to have someone like me in their midst isn't right," he said.
"Eve should have those things. I don't want her to be blinded by it - that leads to bigotry and wars that have gone on for thousands of years. I'd like her to believe that life has more meaning than just being alive."
