It didn't seem like there was much point to asking if she already knew the answer, which wasn't that hard to figure out if she already knew he was a city boy at heart. Although, how she really knew that since Sean himself hadn't figured it out until they'd gone to the ranch, he didn't know. But,Sean let it go. Half the time his sister asked him questions it was just nothing as she tried to work up to asking what she really wanted to know, anyway. If he tried to figure out exactly what she meant every time, he'd have gone insane ages ago.
"Clearly, you need to pay more attention, then, if you couldn't guess," he teased in return.
Sean nearly laughed at the invitation because that was so his sister. "Oh, we've got more proteins than that. How about turning some of those canned chickpeas into hummus?" he suggested with a laugh. "Seriously, though, you know our schedule. It's the same as everyone else's. Just pick a date you want to cook for four and let us know."
