It's still strange to me, I guess, that I've been here long enough to have any. We moved so much at home." And it was too dangerous to let anyone into his life.
He couldn't help laughing softly. "I appreciate the lack of hugging." Sighing, he looked at Troy. "We will be. As you said, this sucked. I get the need to know. I understand why it had to be done. But, it was pretty rough on Brian." Watching Troy a moment, he opted to push a little. "From what I hear, he wasn't the only one it was a bit rough on. And I don't mean Derek. You want to tell me about it? Pie makes talking easier I've been told."
