"She's her mother's daughter," Savannah answered, grinning at the sight in front of her. Sean was so good with the kids and it made her feel better that her children would always have this crazy family. "I despise it, can't you tell?" The smile never wavered as she answered.
Savannah shrugged. "I don't like that you had to go through that even if it wasn't my fault." The difference with G was so palpable at the moment. G couldn't even accept that her power and training made her very difficult to kill while Sean wanted a promise that she'd stay alive. "You know what I can do. I'll stay alive for all of you," she said, seriously, before breaking into a smile again. "It doesn't matter what happened at the start. We moved past that long ago. You're my baby brother and you can worry just as much as I worry about you and Troy. Is he doing okay? It couldn't have been easy with what happened with John."
