To keep off the radar still, Eliot wanted to use the same license to check into the hotel as Nate had used to get the car, but he was vetoed by both of them. If they were going to stay in the area, using two different names could come back to bite them.
After they got their room, Eliot took Cody out for a walk, more as an excuse to view more scenery now that he could see again. The sun was already beginning to set and the weather turning colder. He returned to the room, where Nate and April were debating on what to do for dinner, a phone book open on the bed. It wasn’t as if there was a lack of options.
Eliot unleashed Cody, took a seat at the end of one of the double beds, and settled into his new favorite pastime of staring at April.
