That was a relief at least. April knew she'd never work as a doctor again, not for real, but she didn't want to give up on medicine completely. She was good at paper work, she'd worked as Derek's assistant when she'd first been hired back after her mistake and she'd been good at it. She'd enjoyed it even if it was a surgeon she wanted to be. The fact that she'd be around medical supplies was another perk, one they might need some day.
If she could even find a job at a doctor's office, that was, but then she needed some time to sit down and look for it. From what she'd scanned yesterday there were at least places open at nursing homes and the likes. Not as good, but good enough if it had to be.
From the back of the car she heard Nate's 'yes, in Michigan City,' and she looked at Eliot. "With all of us working there will be less time for training," she said, since it was something that had been on her mind since they decided to leave.
"Granted my training is limited right now as it is, but we need to make a schedule for it - to get as much in as possible. Not just physical training either." They'd need a place to work on their powers in peace without anyone being able to see. Especially Nate who had just got his. "Then there's evacuation procedures, memorizing the routes out of the place we end up in. We also need to decide what kind of place we want to live in. Do we want to rent or buy? And do we want a house or an apartment? There are perks with both."
