TJ had come inside as soon as he heard his brother come home. With the place to himself for a little bit, he'd gone out to smoke his way to some idea what to say to his mother. If he was honest with himself, he was a little surprised this was the first they'd heard from her. Although, being at that base, he could get why not. If they were moving, were they going to get more now?
"I guess that's what I get for being the one to suggest this crazy scheme in the first place," he replied with a shrug as he came to join Doug at the table. "You pay attention to this more than I do. May or June sounded really good." If he could stay clean that long -- and, he realized at this point the only reason he'd managed now was because of Doug and Travis interfering last weekend -- it would be longer than he'd stayed clean when he was with the Sean, the longest he'd been clean since he was in high school. He didn't know if he could do that if he was back living with their parents so soon. "What do you think? Living like peasants, can we manage to stay low enough to be on our own a while longer? Or do we have to go back?"
