"Well that's a shame, you'd do good back in Texas. You know they're pretty serious about their cheerleading and their football." Perhaps a bit more serious about the football than the cheerleading in some part of the State than others, but in the bigger cities he didn't doubt a lot of work went into all that.
Tim couldn't help laughing when Savannah told him when she'd accept a jersey from a football player. "Not surprised at all to hear those as your conditions. He liked a girl who wasn't afraid to speak her mind, who kept up with him and made him laugh. He couldn't help but be glad that Savannah was around in the midst of all this - he'd have a feeling he'd need that little bit of home the longer he stayed here.
