Re: Nell and Sam
There couldn't have been a worse time for a party, although with Savannah, they seemed to have parties with great frequency, so there wasbound to be a party or ten at any given time. Sam had to make it through it.
Only easy day was yesterday.
He'd been saying that in his head since he'd seen Dom, not that he wasn't happy about it, but the fact that he was alive proved that he had failed. In the other dimension, he must have kept a closer eye on Mo, he must have done something better that had made Mo go to NCIS and help them and that had saved Dom. In that reality, Sam had done what he was supposed to, but no in his, not him, and that was something that he needed to deal with, although he didn't know how. G always watching him wasn't helping either. He wasn't going to break.
Of course, G left exactly when he shouldn't have, because he liked Nell, but she could talk as much as Savannah. "Hi," he answered, smiling back at her. "Don't worry I've gotten used to that part." He'd also gotten used to tuning Savannah out and nodding at the right moments. One day, she'd get him to sell his soul and he'd never know. "We missed you, too. We like having our geek squad around, and now we're turning you into super geeks with guns. This would be Nate's dream," he said chuckling.
