Smiling softly, he bushed his lips against Troy's. "I love you," he whispered. "And I hate this. People go out and there's no guarantee they're coming back. Except for the fact they just weren't there all day, none of us even knew they were out. They were just gone, not even a chance to say good-bye." For some reason the reminder that Savannah was his sister did what little else had and cracked through some of the numbness that had surrounded Sean for days. Closing his eyes against the welling emotion, he hid his face against the curve of Troy's neck and just nodded. It was different, how he felt about Savannah and Jenna, but he had loved her like a sister and now she was gone, along with their friend.
