"Those weren't random tricks. They were promising young student volunteers working on the campaign." TJ cast his brother an innocent look, eyes wide. But, he couldn't hold it for long and wound up chuckling. Mostly because he actually couldn't even remember any of the names of those volunteers...any of them, from any party...on either campaign.
Slipping an arm around Travis' waist, he kissed him back before raising an eyebrow. The idea of going back was a fine idea for the future. But, not something he wanted to think about now. He wasn't ready. "So is it divorce or annulment if you barely get past the honeymoon?"
The wink earned Travis a smile as TJ poured his own cup and moved to stand closer to the table as he took a sip. "Here in the building and far too early to be consider humane," he answered with a snort. "I took the job downstairs at the coffee bar. It's opening shift weekday mornings, four hours a day starting at six. I start on the first. And before you protest, I can still come with you a while longer to the club when you work. Just until I'm sure you'll be fine. I won't really have a commute to worry about, so I can nap before my shift and another short one after I get home. So, it would be fine."
