Travis liked their car no matter what TJ and Doug said. It was big and comfortable and he could spread out all he wanted without even getting close to TJ, which seemed irrelevant since he had a hand on TJ's thigh all the way home.
The headache wasn't as bad tonight, which meant that he could think when they got home. "Secure the door and make sure Doug is in bed, and possibly alone," he said, as he took out his gun and looked around the rest of the apartment, making sure that the balcony doors were secured as well.
He couldn't believe how badly he had reacted the week before, leaving everything on the floor, gun included, not checking the apartment. He really hoped never to have a night like that again.
The jacket was tossed on top of a chair and then he found TJ, closing his arm around him. "Do you want to shower first? Or do you want to join me, make sure I don't drown... we might get dirty all over again, though."
