"The ones who are sober enough know it." The moment that TJ touched him, there was a sudden rush of memories, enough to push him back, quite literally. He stepped away staring at TJ for a moment, before he forced himself to move closer again. "I'm... too many things at once, too many things in your head. I don't know if it's an emotional thing or what. I mean... I'm being confusing again."
He pressed his forehead against TJ for a moment, closing his eyes again, and he spoke very softly. "You have plenty of memories, but I can't see all of them, or even most of them. Maybe you just have to think of something, but I think it has to have some emotional connection, make it a stronger memory than others." He drew his head back and cupped TJ's jaw while brushing his cheek with a thumb. "I could see how high you were, how fast you were using. No, not see, that's wrong. It's not like watching a movie, but it's seeing and feeling what you were." All of those feelings made him wish that there were more sex memories. Those were easy. People thought of sex and times when they were feeling well. This was completely different.
"This is exactly why I didn't want you here. I don't want to invade your privacy like that." Travis tried to smile back despite everything going inside his head. "We can practice when we go home as long as you don't mind steady and slow. I don't think my head can take anything else."
