Alexis had typed out her report, deleted the file and then found Sam. "Can we go somewhere private?"
Sam nodded, and he took them to the conference room. "All right, what's on your mind?"
"That you're crazy," she answered with a smile. "I have a written report about the mission." She handed him the piece of paper. "Derek has reviewed it, the file has been deleted, that's the only copy around."

"First, it would be easier if we could find a minivan fitting eight people. It's also more secure for the children," she said. "I wasn't sure about the groups. On one hand using the same groups for the cars and the orchard makes things easy, because this is an orchard, so we would keep the entire group in the same area, picking the same type of apples (no going to different sections). If we end up running it would be easier to get into cars," she started. "On the other hand, people want to spend time with their friends, especially if this is not a work related activity. My conclusion is that if you were taking point, then use the same groups, because they are afraid of you and do what you say. If I run point, then the two separate groups with instructions on how to get to the cars, keeping all the cars together. Actually no, my conclusion is that you are nuts if you want to do this. There are trees, too many places where soldiers could hide, too many people will start moving around and not staying in group. If it were just the team members with their families, then fine, but this is too dangerous."
"What if the Director tells you that he wants to take them there, just like he did with Disney?" Sam asked.
Alexis smiled. "Then you go crazy like you did at Disney."
"Or in this case you go crazy since you got the mission, and we'll get you vans, standard agency cars, you are looking at seven people for that ride. So how would you do that?" Sam asked.
Alexis took the paper back, and looked at the names. She reached for a pen that had been left in the middle of the table and wrote the names in the back.
She pushed the paper toward Sam. "That's how I'd do it, but I'd still keep the groups to walk around."
"Okay, but it's your job to keep an eye on everyone," Sam warned. "You will inform everyone tomorrow night that there is a trip. What kind of information will you give them?"
Alexis thought for a moment. "Clothes, that they should have comfortable clothes." Sam chuckled and she rolled her eyes. "You know they will ask, but okay, reminding them to carry, time we leave, inform them that it would be along ride so to take anything they might need, especially for the kids. That's it."
"No, you might want to stress that it's mandatory and if anyone has a problem, they can speak with you. If anyone gives you a problem, then you bring it to us, okay?"
Alexis nodded. "Okay, but for the record, this mission is crazy, putting me in charge is crazy and you're crazy."
"It's in the record, now go talk to your second."
Alexis left wondering if Sam was using whatever Brian had.
