"Also correct, you can say you want to go somewhere on base without giving then when or for how long. And yes a simple yes or no can be done through email. If they start asking questions, you can say talk to me later. You don't have to give more information than that. If they don't understand and get pissed, that's their problem." People always got pissed. He didn't care.
