"I know." Peter nodded. "And that's all I'm asking." Particularly for a person like Neal Caffrey, Peter wasn't going to just expect him to start trusting everyone around them completely, not even Peter did that. But what he did trust was that just like they'd been told - they were all they had here. They couldn't rely on the government, and they couldn't just hope to be sent back, they could learn to rely on each other though.
Peter supposed it was better than Neal begging to be kept away from Kinney, even if Kinney was a bit of a handful, and he nodded.
It was true, Neal did not have all the contacts here that he did at home, but Peter had faith in him. "You're on a much longer leash here than you were back at home." He reminded Neal. "I think if you want to do this you'll figure it out." He had faith in Neal and his ability to improvise no matter the circumstances.
