"It's not exactly the most exciting party in the world," she said, "but there's really nothing to be done about that. Brian did a good job with the club, though. I'm sure the guys here will appreciated it." More than tonight's crowd, she was sure of that.
She laughed when he compared himself to Brian. "I'm sure your moves are a lot better than his, especially since the fact that I'm not a man offends him. I can change into many things, but I don't think I want to try changing into a man." In fact, she didn't even want to know if that was possible.
"We had parties like this at home. Well, almost like this. Everyone would be dancing and singing and just having a good time. I miss it; I miss them. I miss going to class and practice," she said with a shrug, because there wasn't anything that anyone could do about that. "It's stupid to think about it; I know that, especially at a party."
