TJ snorted upon seeing her expression. So that's what it was. Little Miss was the Queen Bee and expected to be treated as such. He almost laughed at the idea it didn't matter who his parents were and he did laugh outright when she admonished him against saying anything negative about Callen...who it took him a minute to remember was the one who matched the ostentatious 'G' moniker. Honestly, hadn't letter and symbol names gone out with Prince when he stopped being The Artist Formerly Known As...?
"You asked questions. I answered. If you expected to get answers you liked or wanted," he said with a shrug, "you should have asked my brother. He's the one who plays nice and answers questions." Not that Doug would tell her any more than TJ would. But, he'd be more polite and refined about it. He was the one who cared enough about those sort of appearances, while TJ never could get it quite right. And he didn't care enough about how Callen talked to make jokes about it. At least, if the man was not talkative he wouldn't ask a bunch of stupid questions. "I wasn't here long enough to need a vacation so much as waking up from this nightmare." Nor was Disney World a vacation so much as a furtherance of that nightmare. If he was going on a real vacation, St. Tropez or Larvotto Beach were much more to his liking.
