Re: Travis/Thomas
"You really think very highly of people in my class, don't you?" TJ snorted and tossed his jacket on the bed. He then moved to the door and pointedly locked it. "I might be rich and privileged and used to people doing things for me, but I'm not a child. I figured out codes and locks years ago." Not always for security purposes, but he wasn't totally helpless!
"As for suits, your partner is right. The only way to really wear a suit is to get it tailor made. Even altered, off-the-rack is never going to be quite right. But, suits aren't always right for the occasion, either. Clothing choices matter, they say something about a person, make an impression." And if there was one thing TJ knew, it style.
Unfastening his cuffs and loosening his own tie until he could take it off and toss it on the bed with his jacket, TJ walked around toward the window. He unbuttoned the top button of his shirt before pushing the window open. The window ledge wasn't the most stable seating, or much in the way of seating at all, but if he propped his foot up against the opposite edge from where he leaned his back, TJ could hold his balance well enough.
"For a man who seems bent on getting me to stop thinking about my family," he went on, picking up where they'd left off outside the reception while he rolled up his sleeves and fished his cigarettes out of his pocket, "you seem to spend a lot of time thinking and talking about your partner."
