Re: Brian/John
"I can't say that I've ever thought about Morgan and Emily's sex life at all," John replied with a chuckle. But, he found himself looking at the couple over Brian's shoulder for a moment, considering. "I don't know. I think the ones that are more reserved possibly have a lot of things they've considered, and may even do, that they keep hidden from the rest."
And with four words, John's mind clicked. Brian's moods of the last few days had been bothering him. He didn't like doubting them after all that had been said between them over the last few months. But, he'd felt a lot like he had after that night at the club on base when Brian had made it perfectly clear they were friends when Brian had time and on Brian's terms.
Now it made sense. John had expected this to happen sooner, in the first weeks after moving to this place, and had forgotten how sharp this Brian could be. But, a glance at Brian's eyes was enough to confirm which Brian he was dealing with alright. Something to keep in mind, but that didn't really change much in the immediate concern.
"Just a few?" he teased, letting Brian pull him close. His breath hitched a little at the contact and he pressed his lips to Brian's in a kiss. "You're incorrigible. But, I think I need to be a bit drunk for a repeat of Nell's birthday. I'm still not interested in anyone else enough for a threesome and you won't let me do it once just for you. So, unless you're changing your stance on that, looks like your job is to get me drunk for a semi-private party later. And, possibly remind me why we went dancing so often in New York. It's been awhile. I might have forgotten what dancing all night is like," John added with a smile.
