Re: Brian and Thomas
"So, sex doesn't equal true love? Shocking!" TJ's snort was one of derision, at the idea, at how he'd fallen for the faerietale in the past. Shaking that thought off, tilted his head toward a place to sit and take this conversation somewhere a little more comfortable.
The information on people there was appreciated, even if TJ wasn't quite convinced there weren't ways of hanging onto that illusion. But, as he didn't anticipate having a situation that would lead anyone to think he was regularly involved with anyone, it wasn't something he had to worry about at that moment. "So, there are at least some people who know how the rules work. And one hopeless matchmaker and pseudo society maven. And you're the one bucking the system from within?"
TJ snorted. "That only works when they have a mutual interest. But, how about we just say everyone has an opinion on and use for 'the first openly gay son of a president' and leave it there, shall we? This is a party, after all."
And there were so many better things to talk about. "Just a simple fact." TJ smirked. "But, you can always find out for yourself sometime. I'll happily listen to your agreement after the fact."
