"You're right about that," Bud said in response to her remark about his former inappropriate relationships with other women. He had learned to expect them and take them in stride. He was the one after all who had screwed up others... many, many times.
Bud was silent for a moment as he had considered Elaine's statement about the switching of the agent. It had crossed his mind before. "I wonder if the ones who leave this dimension get powers when they enter the other dimensions or if it only works one way." He wondered how the world was handling this Evans family.
"Aye," Bud nodded and once more taking Elaine's hands into his and giving them a squeeze, "For the boys."
He tried not to smirk when Elaine complimented his speaking skills, but he just couldn't help it. He had a lousy poker face when it came to her. "It is politics, but it is a sad facet of the world's greatest spectator sports." God he loved politics so much. That he would never again have the attention of a nation was disheartening, to say the least.
