"They are. They are very honorable people and I trust them to do what's right." That was the problem. They would protect everyone and die if need be and Leon would do what he could to avoid that. In the long run, his agents were a lot more valuable than any civilian. "I played in Chicago, nothing official, and then in the military: the Armed Forces Boxing league. At least, until I severed a retina. I still box, but not competitively." He had used this cover story for so long that it was natural to recount the life story of a man that wasn't him. He never was a Marine, his eyes were just fine and he stopped because he was too valuable in intelligence, but the story sounded good.
"I don't actually like the time off," Leon admitted. "It's one of those points of contention with my wife. I say it's the nature of the job; she says I enjoy it too much. She's right, of course, but then she knows tht work is my vice of choice."
