RP: Travis and Renko Who: Travis and Renko Where: dining room When: before Sunday dinner, August 26, 2012 Summary: Travis and Renko catch up
Travis hadn't really said much when they had been introduced the week before, or for that matter during the week. There wasn't much to say when you trained so hard that your breath was a valuable commodity. He had to hand it to Hanna, the man certainly kept in shape Not that Travis was a slouch. He could run as fast as any of those kids and he could still jump, but the altitude was making it difficult and so he wasn't particularly trying to start conversations during training. However, today was Sunday and he had plenty of time.
He was in the dining room, getting some lunch. There were some people, but Deeks' family wasn't there yet when Renko came down with his kid. "It's got to be some miracle that something so beautiful can come from you," he said, with eough teasing in his voice to show that he wasn't trying to pick a fight. Not that he didn't have the right. He might not have said anything before, but he knew who Renko was, and more importantly what he'd done. He was equally impressed by the balls and resourcefulness Renko had displayed and pissed off that he had said that LAPD was a piss poor substitute for NYPD. "You're as ugly as that horse you stole. You should have done time for misappropriating police equipment."
