"As in New York City? Peter and Neal are from here, too. Well, I don't think they are from here, but they live here. Sam's from here, though, even if he lives in LA. Although I guess none of you are really from here, considering the differences. I'm not sure I would have liked growing up here," she said, thinking about the big city and deciding that she liked Memphis just fine.
"Oh it's not bad, but I didn't like the fact that it didn't have a kitchen," she explained. "Of course, now that I have a kitchen I barely use it because I'm always doing something else. So I guess it wasn't so important to begin with."
She nodded. "Grew up in Memphis, but I was born in Texas. My family is from there. I go to Lancaster now. Well I did, I was about to graduate, another few months, but that's gone. What about you? Do you go to school? What were you studying? You know if you talk to G, they might find you something to study so you still have a way to get a degree when we go home." She grinned. "That's so sweet, but then everyone is very sweet." Except for Brian who always made her blush with what he said, but she was learning to walk away or make sure that G was around. Brian seemed to say less when G was there.
