Re: Savannah/Marty
Marty chuckled. "Just a little scary." Or downright terrifying at the time. He'd been so messed up back then he hardly recognized himself. Then again, he was married with two kids and thinking of Sam and Callen as family. That wasn't a version of himself he was used to recognizing, either, even if it'd been almost a year. "Play a part long enough, though, and it becomes very easy. Sometimes too easy," he added, thinking of how easy it was for him to slip into the role of Max Gentry and that was a role he didn't even particularly like...or, you know, at all. "And sometimes forgetting what they feel is the reason for playing the part."
There had been a time when the idea of a son of his own would have been even more terrifying than the spending the rest of their lives together. But, he hadn't broken the girls...yet. So, maybe there was a little hope for him as a dad. Grinning wickedly, bent his head to nip and kiss at her neck. "I think we'll need a lot of practice. Have to make sure we get it right."
Sighing, he pulled back a little, stopping to kiss her gently. "If you ask, I'll tell you. If I've been hesitant in the past, that's...protecting me, not you. There used to be a guy a lot of people talked about with strippers and dancers and yoga bunnies and...well, no, not a lot of people really knew about the bisexuality part. But, my point, my point is that man found a better lifestyle and he doesn't want his sweet, beautiful wife to see the old him. Experiment a little? yes. Enjoy watching you discovery your sexy, sensual side? Absolutely! Wake up to find that guy reflected back when you look at me? Not so much."
Something should have been said about the whips and chains. There was a joke and some teasing in there somewhere. But, it all flew out of his head and he could only stare at her when she suggested...that. Taking her by the shoulders, he pulled her in front of him and held her there. "No." He shook his head, hearing Sam's voice from a year and a half ago telling him he would have to be the one to bruise and bloody her in training if she was going to survive. But, that very different from what she was suggesting. Working undercover with the Narc unit, he'd seen plenty of things that disturbed his sleep and he was sure he hadn't seen a tenth of the things Sam, or even G, had seen. "I understand what you're suggesting and why. But, no. I don't think you truly understand what the word torture means and no training is worth putting yourself through that. It's not..." releasing her, he ran his hand through his hair. "It's a lot more than just physical pain. And if G agrees to it..."
Honestly, if G agreed, Marty would have to be kept far away from it because otherwise he just might kill G for it.
