Eliot was caught off-guard by April's question. He went from growling to sheepish in a breath. "Uh, no."
He caught her giggle and pretended he didn't hear it. "Yeah, Brian Kinney. He and John are right above us." He pointed upwards at the sound-proofed ceiling. "It's easier to remember who's whom by groups. You have Director Vance, who's in charge. Then there's the family - that's Callen, Sam Hanna, Sam's kids Sean and Jenna, Jenna's husband Dom Vail, Sean's boyfriend Troy Bolton, Callen's adopted daughter Savannah and her husband Marty Deeks, Callen's brother and his boyfriend, and five babies."
Eliot turned to run his hand along the surface of the dresser until he located his notebook. The pen was stuck in the last page he'd used. He carefully began writing down Robert and Renko's full names, along with Renko's hearing, as he went on detailing the people at the school.
"Next, you have the frat group, that includes Sean and Bolton too, Nell Jones, Alexis Castle, Tim Riggins, Kinney, John, and Derek. Then there's the rest of us: Eric Beale and Sheldon Cooper are researchers, Morgan and Emily are second in charge after Callen and Hanna - they're all right folks, for FBI - and Nick Green is our teenage hitter that Morgan's trying to keep on the good path."
Eliot finished writing and passed it down to Nate. The words were spaced oddly and unevenly, but it was printed legibly, considering Eliot couldn't see what he was writing.
"As for us, well, I ain't gonna put you in a situation that makes this place hell for you. You may be family, but that can be a detriment here depending on what they know about your background."
