When: Saturday, June 30, 2012 -- morning
Summary: Two friends talk...or talk around.
The week had been a quiet one for Nell, something for which she was silently grateful. Though she still wasn't too keen on being around a lot of people, still unsure of where her damned emotions would take her, she managed to keep a smile on her face and the usual bright tone to her voice when she did have to deal with people. If she put a little more energy into training sessions, who was going to notice or care?
She was tired, though. That was the one thing she didn't know how long she'd be able to hide. Sleep was still not her friend and she was beginning to think she understood why Derek and Callen never seemed to sleep. The mind had it's way with a person when they were sleeping and it wasn't always kind.
Of course, that probably was why she 'slept in' until it was nearly the time for even Sean to be willing to get out of bed on a Saturday morning. Not really in the mood for breakfast anyway, she got up, got dressed, got her gun, and went to the boys' room to see if they were up yet.
A Sean with sleep still fogging his eyes answered the door with a smile and a raised eyebrow. "Hey, Nell. What's up?"
"Hi, Sean. I was wondering if I could borrow your boyfriend for a little bit. But, I think I'm early." She eyed the way Sean was dressed, or not dressed, in just his pajama pants.
"Nah, I think I can spare him for a little bit." Sean opened the door wider to let her in. He went over to kiss Troy lightly. "You have company. I'm going to go take a shower and we know that will take forever."
Sean grabbed his clothes and shower things. He winked at Nell as he passed, closing the door behind him. How insane was it that she almost wished he'd left it open? This was Troy for God's sake. Her best friend. Smiling despite her thoughts, she hopped up onto the edge of the bed. "Good morning." She nodded toward where Sean had just left. "He seems to be in good spirits. How's he doing?"
