RP: Getting Everyone Up
Who: Everyone
Where: Base Housing
When: Saturday, February 11, 2011 - 04:30
Summary: G gets the team up and moving for a surprise training exercise and briefing.
For G, waking up shortly after three in the morning was fairly normal. Getting the rest of the household up and packed -- including two dogs. That was definitely new. Still, he'd determined the best way to do this with maximum security was also with maximum surprise for all involved. They were going to hate him for it. He wasn't sure that even Sam wasn't considering adding this to the list of crazy things that came with working with G Callen, if only for the fact the other man was getting roped into helping with the job of corralling the rest.
But, they had an opportunity to get everyone off-base and to as secure a location as they could find to finally be able to lay out everything about their situation and hopefully get some of the fighting to stop, make them understand why he kept telling them they had to work together, they had to try to work in certain parameters, in order to survive. And if he couldn't make them understand, then maybe he Director could.
With all this in mind, he woke the others, dealt with varying levels of groggy questions, and got the four of them packed and ready, then with Sam's help got the extra food and gear they were taking up for everyone, just in case, ready as well. They'd have to spread some of this amoung the other cars given they were taking the dogs. But, they'd manage.
Once the four of them were set, he tasked each one with waking some of the others. Savannah he sent to the house where April, Abby, and Westen lived. Sam was sent to Burke and Caffrey, Deeks to Morgan and Garcia. G himself took on the task of dragging Kinney out of whose ever bed he'd crawled into the night before. A physical visit ensured that everyone got up, as it was less likely they could roll over and go back to sleep if they had to get up and answer their door at 04:30. It also meant there was no electronic data transfer of the information that could be intercepted and used to track them.
The instructions they were given were simple: Get up. Get packed. Eat. Everyone meet at their house at 05:30 for departure. This is not optional. They would get directions on where they were going once they arrived at G's house. Explanations would be given once they'd arrived at their final destination.
