RP: Sam, Vance
Who: Sam, Vance
Where: vance's office
When: morning, April 20, 2012
Summary: There are plans to make
It was strange having Vance at training in the morning. The man was the NCIS director, a politician, and usually politicians were old and out of shape. Vance was none of that. He wasn't as trained as they were, but then few people were, but he was in very good shape and you could still see traces of the professional boxer. It was also strange, because the man was there, and Sam didn't need to be an agent to know that the Director was observing as much as he was training. He was also using the time to conduct business, which is why when Vance told him to meet him in his office, Sam wasn't surprised. He just told G that he needed to report to Vance. They knew that it would take as long as it took and neither one would find out until Vance dismissed Sam.
In the office, Sam sat down with a simple 'Sir' and waited.
"This is the property we will be moving into," Leon said, passing a folder with the information. No one but a few people in the office knew which property they had settled on or that closing would be next week, but this is why he trusted his people with the information. They understood the reasons for need to know and didn't let it affect their personal relationships. "As you can see, it will require us to be snow ready for a good portion of the year. I want a list of what we need to buy."
Sam smirked. This was almost like going home, and he was sure that Vance knew that he was part of Team 2 for years. "At a minimum, skis, snowboards, wax, three layers of clothings, we want top notch, because if we have to run, we want everyone able to survive on the mountains. White snow suits for camoflage. Also with the lakes around there, wet suits, you can surprise enemy by swimming under the ice, oxygen tanks. I'll have a comprehensive list for you by tomorrow."
"Monday will do, Mr. Hanna. You'll have to start considering a different routine. There are excellent facilities, but to teach people how to ski and swim under ice, you'll need daylight. Training will have to change again," Leon said.
Sam shrugged. "Training always change. We'll work it out. It'll be a lot more physical up there, but we still need the teams ready for retrevals. We'll work it out."
"We always do," Leon answer. "That's everything. Thank you for your time."
