RP: Everyone
Who: Everyone (starts with just the leads, later with everyone)
Where: his office
When: April 5, 2012
Summary: He talks to them about the new housing arrangements, move, etc.
Leon didn't like to waste time. He had a mental time table, but he was finding that he was pushing forward much faster. Maybe it was a gut feeling, or maybe he's just been in this business for so long that he knew that it was better to be safe than sorry. He planned to be ready to move as soon as possible, even if they ended up staying here for a while.
To this end, he called the two leads and asked them to meet him in the office at 1530. "Gentlemen, thank you for your promptness. First, when you go back, let people know that there will be no evacuation drills tonight. In fact, bring all of them here at 1730. I want to speak with all of them.
"I've made a decision about the housing." He hadn't missed Sam walking around last night or the moves that everyone had made to stay safe. "You were right that I rely on people to make the smart choice, because I'm used to dealing with agents that know how to stay alive, but perhaps that assumption has led to one too many deaths. So it stops," he said.
"Mr. Callen, after speaking with the people in question, and even though they have all agreed to work together, I feel that putting them in one house would exasperate the situation. In addition, there are a few things that I want to see changed. I'll stay where I am. You and Sam will move with Savannah and Deeks. If she is pregnant while we get attacked, the likelihoods of the stress and running inducing labor is very high. You'll end up needing someone to carry her and people to provide back up. Your brother and Renko will stay where they are. If Robert can teleport Liam and Savannah even better. Considering that it's the only place where they could start a surprise attack, it will position our best agents right up front. The reason for that assumption is that last night, every time Sam was going around, dogs were barking." Those dogs might just prove their best investment.
"Next, everthing in Dr. Kepner's house stays the same. In five, we put Sean, Troy, Alexis, Tim and Nell. We moved Dom and his family plus Eric in seven, and John and Brian on eight. Their orders will be to fly out to the truck and leave. I have to make sure that I get at least one tec out and John is the one who can do it without help. Mr. Morgan, you'll move to nine and the Morrows with Ashleigh will be on ten. We'll have four good shots on that side as well. I intent to make sure that I speak with the Morrows about that girl. Also, I want those nursery painted over, no traces of babies if we can manage it. In case these houses don't explode, I want them to think that there's one baby, since we can't hide Savannah's. She's been in town too many times and talked to too many people for people not to notice, but Kensi was never in town and Jenna was barely there. We'll make sure that any traces on our credit cards disappear and all the baby supplies was bought in Phoenix. It's not perfect, and when the time comes, there might still be traces of children, but I'd rather minimize the chances. Do you see any problems with these arrangements?"
Derek thought it over. "There will still be complaints about how uneven they are."
"That's fine. They can complain to me," he said, "but do you see any reasons you would complain?"
Derek shook his head. "No, I think we're good. I think we might want to talk with nick and Eliot. They can help that middle group too."
