Email: G to Everyone Who: Derek and Callen Where: email network When: Friday, March 30, 2012 Summary: A new training program is announced
From: Callen, G To: undisclosed-recipients Subject: Lead for a Day
Starting next week, we will begin a 'Lead for a Day' program. For one day a week, Morgan and Prentiss, myself and Sam, will step back and let one of you run operations for a day. The Lead for the day will be responsible for the following:
Running all training sessions. This includes:
Morning PFT
Defense Training
Field Training
Powers Training
Addressing all disciplinary problems
Coordinating training and day-to-day operations with the Director's office
Answering questions, concerns, and general inquiries from team members
Making end of the day progress reports to the Director
Day-to-day paperwork as necessary
What does this mean in layman's terms?
If it's something one of the four of us would normally do, you will do it. You will not run Advanced Training or perform any of the more clinical psychological duties Morgan or Prentiss generally handle.
You will be responsible for administering reward and punishment in a fair manner for all parties with the only stipulation being no punishment or reward will last longer than 24 hours. If something is more serious in nature and requires a more serious action, the matter should be brought to the Director.
Should we be attacked, a true emergency arise, or any other situation in which a life is at stake, we will resume command immediately. In all other circumstances, however, you are to resolved issues on your own without asking any of the four of us for advice.
You will be allowed to choose your own second-in-command for the day.
Below you will find a schedule of who will take the Lead position on what day. The first group to go will be those of you heading off to college soon as we want to be sure you get a turn in before your days are spent on campus. After that, everyone will take turns, as medical restrictions permit, in the order they arrived in this world (and therefore, those who have been training the longest will go first and give those have only been training a few weeks more time to train).
April 04 - Eliot Spencer April 11 - Alexis Castle April 18 - Nick Green April 25 - Troy Bolton May 02 - Marty Deeks May 09 - John Baum May 16 - Tim Riggins May 23 - Mike Renko May 30 - Sean Hanna June 06 - Clay Morrow June 13 - Gemma Morrow June 20 - Robert Callen June 27 - Ashleigh Howard July 03 - Jenna Hanna July 11 - Savannah Monroe
As I am sure many of you noticed, there are some names missing from that list above. If you're thinking we left people out, don't get your hopes up.
It would not be fair to those not working on the field teams every day to be put in charge of one. Their talents lie in other directions. So, those of you working in the office and not on the field teams will have your own rotation as given below. Only, you will not be Lead for a Day, you will be Director for a day. You will coordinate with the Leads on training and day-to-day operations, receive daily progress reports, advise on disciplinary matters, and any other task Director Vance sets out for you.
Your schedule is as follows, also in the order of arrival:
April 19 - April Kepner May 10 - Brian Kinney May 31 - Eric Beal June 21 - Dominic Vail July 12 - Nell Jones
