Summary: After Nick's email, April wants to try and make sure that someone will show up.
She had planned to do something for Nick's birthday for a while. The present had been bought a while back as was most of the ingredients for the cake she'd planned to bake. She'd thought of who to invite, but things were tense. There was one person she'd like to get there, though. The smile on Nick's face when he'd gone to Alexis' party was still in her memory and she hoped she could get Alexis to come.
when Nick declared that he was having a party, and promptly sent out the email to invite people, talking to Alexis became even more important. So after that night's meeting, April walked up to her. "Alexis, do you have a moment?" she asked. "There is something I would like to ask you if you have time."
