Sitting on the couch with a bemused smile, Marty let her go through everything she wanted to before she finally paused to get his opinion. He didn't mind changing the rooms around anyway she liked. Twins made sense in the bigger room and if there was a third child, then there'd be another room. A long as he had a bed and Savannah, he was good for himself.
Decal and mural options, however, were a bit overwhelming.
Pink and white for the girls was normal, right? And their mother loved Disney Princesses. But, they couldn't count on the girls following after their mother's preferences, could they? "It's the same princesses in each mural, right?" Marty was looking at them, but one Disney princess was all the same as another to him. One was blonde, on brunette. He pulled the laptop closer and flipped from window to window looking at the murals. The problem was, Marty wasn't a decorator and he had never gotten the idea of walls being offset with different colors/patterns as a design signature. Opening another window. He did a search to see if what he was thinking of existed before putting the idea out there. "What if you gave each one her own wall, instead? Rather than duplicating the same four on multiple walls? Like these? Put Cinderella-" the only one he really knew by name given their wedding theme "-on one wall with her coach and maybe a couple birds. This one with the pink dress on another with a castle. And then you can have your pink and white in the wallpaper behind them? Or paint if that's better than wallpaper."
If she wanted princesses, she'd have princesses. Those giant murals just didn't seem very restful and a nursery was supposed to be relaxing, right?
