Eric smiled a bit at the response, looking down a bit as he turned to face her. The touch caught him off guard, sure things had been a bit different since they arrived here, but something always seemed to get in the way of things he wanted to say or do. Still when she touched him like this he wanted nothing more than to say what had been on his mind for so long.
The question made him unsure though, and he shrugged a bit. "I'm not sure, I just-" He raised his hand, catching hers as it left his hair, before she could pull it away. "It's hard to explain how I'm doing. I mean Abby, then Hetty, now Kensi," he paused, looking at her. "Nearly you." That thought still frightened him.
