She'd seen him come in and seen him leave the office when the team returned from the funeral home. Team seemed even more appropriate considering it was Kensi's body they were escorting and it had been only OSP who had gone with them. But, Nell had stayed behind. Better those who had been closest to her go. Someone needed to get the work done here and Kensi would have understood. It's what Hetty would have done.
At the end of the work day, she didn't stick around to put in the usual amount of overtime she might have with all that was going on. She packed up, still using the trick with her power to actually carry her messenger bag since she had another week or so of healing on her ribs and didn't want to push it. Thankfully the gash in her side had healed as well as it could weeks ago and her sprained ankle as well. Nell hated being at less than her peak.
But, her thoughts were getting sidetracked. Packing up, she left the office on time and headed for the main house. Nell knew Eric to well to believe he'd be at his house when he could be losing himself in pixels and sound bytes. Opening the door to the game room quietly, she put her bag on the floor by the couch and collected the second controller for the console he was on. Sitting next to him without a word, she waited until there was a break where she could join in and keep him company.
Wasn't really much to be said, after all, and if he was at a point where he needed to talk, he wouldn't be blowing up martians, still.
