Abby was one of theirs, NCIS. G hadn't expected her to be the one he had to deal with insubordination issues from the first days of training. If he was truly honest with himself, he understood it from Savannah and Dr. Kepner more than from Abby.
And he really hated having to send her to the base prison. But, with the start of training, things had to change. He had to get through to these people that they were not safe anywhere.
"Hey," he returned, nodding to the guard on duty who let him in and locked the cell door behind him. He took a seat on the bed she wasn't using. "This is not my favorite place to visit friends, Abby. I have to admit, I'm at a loss as to why you'd refuse to do the training evaluations. I would have expected more support from you. What happened?"
Of course, he knew the what. But, the why was what was eluding him.
